FIND YOUR BEARD STYLE
Do you research and have a desired beard style in mind at the start of your growth journey. A great Beard is one that suits your face, so whist your Beard starts growing experiment and try different styles until you find the style that best suits your face.
LET IT GROW
Patience is probably the most important factor when it comes to Beard growth, you can’t grow a great Beard overnight so you need to let the hair grow out and tough out the rough period. Examine your face regularly and review the growth pattern before trimming to your desired style.
WASH YOUR BEARD
Keeping your Beard in good condition is crucial for achieving its healthy appearance. Wash and clean your Beard everyday and apply shampoo and conditioner to your Beard 2-3 times a week to remove any build up of dust and dead skin.
APPLY BEARD PRODUCTS
Apply Beard oil to moisturise and hydrate your facial hair. A few drops of our D-T Beard oil will absorb quickly and give your hair the right nutrients whilst giving it a natural shine and also making it more tamable in the process. You can also use our wooden brush and comb set to brush your Beard, train your hairs and spread the Beard oil evenly across your Beard.
TRIM YOUR BEARD
Trim your Beard to sculpt the perfect style for your face once you’ve seen enough growth. This helps direct the hair exactly where it needs to be. You can trim split ends using a pair of scissors or take out some bulk with a pair of clippers or Beard trimmer.
MAINTAIN A BALANCED DIET AND EXERCISE REGULARLY
Good nutrition from eating a healthy, balanced diet may benefit your beard as well as your body. A healthy diet won’t override genetics, but it may help your existing hair grow healthier and more lustrous. Exercise improves blood flow, which helps to stimulate hair follicle growth. Exercises like weightlifting and strength training may also temporarily boost testosterone.
Note; The rate at which your beard will grow in, as well as its fullness, is largely determined by genetics. Testosterone and DHT also play important roles.
Keeping yourself healthy through diet and exercise may help your beard be healthier, too. Getting enough sleep and maintaining good hygiene may also help.
